  1. Hi:
I have used Yahoo! Briefcase for several years as an online storage to back up files that I may need to access from various places. It contains, among other other things, a list of my usernames and passwords. I always suggest Yahoo! Briefcase as a resource for my students.

  2. Just wanted to say that I think this is really neat. My hard drive is always full that I have to delete some documents, but with this, we can save everything and leave the hard drive for other stuff. Thanks

  3. I love the idea that I do not have to worry about, where did I leave my flashdrive…no more worries about deleting some documents out of the hard drive.
    Thank you, Dr. Cyrus

  4. WOW! I really like this storage idea..backing up files is just perfect especially when you depend on using flashdrive or just your PC. I’ve started saving all my UOG documents and I know now that it’s safe. I find Yahoo briefcase to be easy to use. Thanks Dr. Cyrus

  8. I guess I am figuring things out. I knew that there were companies that offered on-line storage but I never checked them out until now. I just backed up important files on thumb drives or Emailed files to myself.

  9. Hello Dr. Cyrus: Just read the Yahoo briefcase is closing down on-line file storage service on 03-31-09. Spread the word to the other students so that they do not waste time uploading files only to have them go away.

  10. I now know that RSS means really simple syndication. Looks like MediaFire is the really free site and has lots of capacity. Of course all sites wish that you upgrade for more storage and capabilities.

  11. Stephen thanks for the heads up on Yahoo!Briefcase. That was actually my first choice, since I’ve been using that email for years. I decided to go with MediaFire. They seem reliable and it’s free. For those who need more space there is a small monthly fee.
